Roll-Up Doors

Coil up into a drum above the opening — ideal where headroom is limited. Available in steel (industrial) or aluminium (residential). Very durable and secure.

Meranti Wood Sectional Doors

Elegant timber sectional doors that add warmth and character. We treat all our timber doors with Silkwood® for long-lasting protection against the elements.

Tilt-Up / Tip-Up Doors

Single-panel doors that swing out and up as one piece. An older design but still common. Can be automated with the right gate motor setup.

Springs, Tracks & Hardware

Spring Types

Torsion springs (mounted above the door) and extension springs (running alongside the tracks) are the two main types. Torsion springs are safer and longer-lasting — our preferred recommendation.

Torsion Spring Hardware

Quality torsion springs are rated for 10,000–25,000 cycles. We only fit quality-rated springs. Warning: Never attempt to replace garage door springs yourself — they are under extreme tension and can cause serious injury.

Tip-Up Mechanism

The classic tip-up door uses a canopy or retractable track. Still common on older Pretoria homes. We repair, automate and replace tip-up doors with modern alternatives.
